Rubber Tapper Expedition - 5 days and 4 nights
1st Day – Departure at 08:30 Am from the Hotel,
car transfer to Porto da Ceasa (20 minutes).
Board a speedboat and sail to the meeting of the waters, a quick stop for photos and explanation, (30 minutes) until Vila do Careiro.
Stop to visit the region's fruit market, and board a van or minibus (40 minutes on BR 319) that connects Manaus to Porto Velho,
stop to photograph Vitória Regia,
After that we continued for 1:30 hours on the road to the Paraná do Mamori river.
Regional canoe transfer with arrival scheduled for approximately 12:30 pm.
(Lunch).
In the afternoon, departure to explore the area. This tour is done in motorized canoes.
It is great for observing animals such as monkeys, sloths and a wide variety of birds.
Sunset.
At 7:30 pm, dinner at the Ararinha Lodge restaurant.
2nd Day – (05:30 am) Departure for sunrise and bird watching
(breakfast).
(08:30 am) Jungle walk with a specialized jungle guide where you will learn how to survive in the jungle, as well as learn about our fauna and biodiversity.
(Lunch at 12:00).
In the afternoon, piranha fishing.
Return to the Lodge.
7:30pm Dinner.
After dinner, we will go out to observe nocturnal animals and spot alligators with flashlights.
3rd Day – (08:00am) Visit to the caboclos’ house to learn about their customs and culture, visiting cassava plantations and others.
Lunch at 12:00.
Afternoon Departure for a canoe ride and the best way to photograph the forest and listen to the birds.
During the high river period (March to September) navigate through the igapós (flooded forests) and Igarapés (small channels that cut through the flooded forests).
Dinner at 7:30pm
This evening you will be free to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the river in front of you, the moonlight and the stars or use the gaming area while having a drink.
4th and 5th Day – After Breakfast, 08:30 –
We will go out to explore the jungle by hiking or canoeing.
In the afternoon we prepared the camp in the jungle.
Overnight,
(we prepare our food, camp, spear fish, etc.). Dinner.
5th Day – Breakfast at 8:00 am,
activity combined with your guide, being able to repeat one of the activities.
Lunch can be at a local's house or at the Lodge,
In the afternoon at 1:30 pm, return via the same route, arriving at 5:00 pm. Arrival can be at the hotel or the airport.
Private apartment with private bathroom/Air conditioning – R$2,000.00 per person.
