Expedition - 06 days/05 nights at Ararinha Lodge and Camp.
1st Day - We will leave the hotel at 8:30 am by car towards the port called Ceasa (20 minutes).
And soon after we will take a speedboat towards Encontro das Águas, where the Negro and Solimões rivers meet forming the two rivers, then we will go towards a village known as Careiro da Várzea (30 minutes).
Arriving in the village of Careiro we will have a short time to observe the local market and its diverse products, then we will continue by van or bus along the BR Manaus-Porto Velho.
Arriving at the Lodge around 12:30, an ideal region for wildlife observation with an abundance of different animal species such as: Birds, Alligators, Fish, Snakes and many other animals that could surprise us at any minute of our tour.
Right after lunch we will make our first reconnaissance of this region, becoming fascinated and familiar with many other natural beauties that lie ahead.
Our dinner will be served at 7:30 pm. Overnight at the lodge.
02nd Day - We will leave the Lodge in a motorized canoe to Arara Lake where we will set up our first camp known as Tapiri made of wood, vines and palm leaves. This camp is located on the banks of the river, making it easier for all activities since the rivers are the only means of transport in these territories.
Our lunch will be in an open space on the riverbanks and we will savor delicious fresh fish grilled over charcoal.
In the afternoon we will explore the region by canoe and go fishing so we can catch our own dinner. Afterwards we will go for a night walk to listen to the incredible sounds of the jungle at night and then return to camp.
We will sleep in hammocks protected by mosquito nets in the jungle.
03rd Day - (05:30am) We will leave early to watch the birds and many other diurnal animals awaken.
After sunrise we will return to the base for breakfast and then we will prepare for a hike with our specialized guides where our clients will learn survival techniques and learn about our flora and fauna and return to the base for lunch, during the afternoon we will try to catch some fish for dinner and then we will go out once again to observe nocturnal animals. Zagair fish... etc.
04th Day - Breakfast and departure for a walk on trails, used only for observing animals with a lush natural landscape to take photos and return to the camp for a well-deserved rest or if you prefer swimming in the river for a refreshing drink is also a great option, after we will have our dinner.
STAY NIGHT in hammocks protected by mosquito nets at the camp or in the home of locals.
05th Day - Breakfast, followed by a canoe trip where our guests can row on the main lakes, with a chance to see monkeys, iguanas, snakes, sloths and, with a bit of luck, Botos - freshwater dolphins.
